Drug Uses

Apart from being used in the treatment of hypertension, Lozol is also used to relieve salt and fluid retention in the body.

Usage

It is recommended that you take Lozol exactly as prescribed by your doctor. However, it is best taken in the morning with or without your breakfast.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Lozol then you may take the forgotten dose as soon as you remember. However space out your remaining doses. You may also skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Never take two doses at the same time.

Storage

Store it at room temperature, protecting it from direct exposure to heat and light.

Overdose

Some of the symptoms of an overdose include Electrolyte imbalance (potassium or salt depletion due to too much fluid loss), nausea, stomach disorders, vomiting and weakness. Seek medical attention immediately if you suspect an overdose.

More Information

Lozol is a diuretic and it may cause the body to lose too much salt and potassium. So, it is recommended that you eat potassium rich foods to combat the low potassium levels in the body.
